For International Patients

Questions? We have answers.

Everything international patients ask about visas, cost, safety and planning treatment in India — answered clearly and honestly.

Getting started & cost

How much does treatment in India cost compared to my country?
Most procedures cost 40–70% less than in the US, UK or Gulf countries — often even including your flights and stay — with no compromise on the quality of doctors or facilities. After reviewing your reports we send an itemised estimate with no hidden charges.
Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes. Sharing your reports, getting a medical opinion from a senior specialist and receiving a treatment plan and cost estimate is completely free and carries no obligation.
How do I pay, and when?
Hospital charges are paid directly to the hospital, usually in stages around admission and treatment. We help with cashless and insurance processing where applicable, and everything is transparent and documented.

Visa & travel

Will you help me get a medical visa?
Yes. We issue the medical-visa invitation letter you need for your application and guide you through the process, including a visa for one or two travel companions.
Can a family member travel with me?
Absolutely. Most patients travel with one or two attendants. We arrange a medical-attendant visa invitation, accommodation and everything they need to stay comfortably nearby.
Will someone meet me at the airport?
Yes. A MediTravel coordinator receives you at the airport, arranges transport, and helps you settle into accommodation close to the hospital.

Care, safety & language

Are the doctors and hospitals accredited?
We partner only with verified senior specialists and accredited facilities. You can review each doctor's credentials and each hospital's details on our site before you decide.
Will language be a barrier?
No. English is widely spoken by doctors and staff, and your coordinator provides translation and cultural support throughout your stay.
How long will I need to stay in India?
It depends on the procedure — from a few days for dental or eye care to a few weeks for major surgery and recovery. Your treatment plan includes an expected timeline so you can plan with confidence.
What happens after I return home?
You receive a full discharge summary and medicines, and we stay connected for follow-up and tele-consultations with your doctor after you're back home.
